You can expect high quality student solid top guitar at a valuable price. The neck is still in perfect shape despite its age, it is easy to play and sounds warm.
There are cosmetic imperfections:
- Wear and tear scratches on the top.
- A chip at the head.
- Some minor discoloration of the finish at the back of the neck and some discoloration spots on the top.
Therefore I am selling this at a very affordable price. No case nor bag. But you can have an old semi-hard case for free.
About Ryoji Matsuoka
Ryoji Matsuoka workshop produced many high quality but budget friendly guitars. They produced OEM models for Fana corp, Aranjuez (Kohno made some of the tops while Matsuoka made the body). The model numbering system of Matsuoka workshop changed a few times over the years, and the older 70s or early 80s numbers without 'M' is at much higher quality than those models with 'M'. They also produced replicas of Hausers, labeled as MH, and Ramirez, labelled as MR.
