This is a hand-made guitar, and you can expect Japanese fine quality. Besides its exquisite craftsmanship, it also carries some tonal characteristics of Kohno guitars, which is the sweet, sikly tone.

Despite its age, the neck is in perfect relief, with fantastic playability. In addtion, please appreciate its superb string/saddle breaking angle (see picture). The action is set for my performance standard, but you can choose to lower them as there are plenty of room for adjustment.

There are dents and scratches, nothing serious, as they are normal wear.

About Kazuo Ichiyanagi
One of the highest regarded Japanese guitar maker, Mr. Ichiyanagi designed the classical guitar line up for Fernandez Co. of Japan, while at the same time, building his own guitar under his own label. Currently, he runs his own workshop together with his son, Kunihiko Ichiyanagi. The number labeled in most Japanese guitars are customary suggested selling price, doubled as model number. Please note that No. 10 in the 80s are not lower model than the No. 30 in the presence. Consider the cost of materials 40 years ago, and the cost of living in Japan. You need to really try this guitar to appreciate its value.
